To add injury to insult, Amare Stoudemire rolled his ankle during the Knicks loss against the Lakers on Thursday. According to Marc Berman of the NYPost, Amare is scheduled to miss tonight's game against the Kings.
Amar’e Stoudemire is out for tonight’s game at Sacramento with a sprained left ankle, according to a person familiar with the situation.
Stoudemire did not practice yesterday and was receiving “a bombardment of treatment.’’ But with the Knicks back home Monday vs. Toronto, the Knicks will give Stoudemire a rest. Stoudemire has said during training camp he may miss a few games to rest his bumps and bruises because of the condensed 66-game schedule. The Knicks will play their third game in four nights tonight.
