Amar’e Stoudemire Likely to Return for Game 4

Written by on May 2, 2012 in News - No comments

New York Knicks forward Amar'e Stoudemire will miss Game 3 due to a hand injury, but he is expected to hit the court on Sunday for Game 4. Stoudemire punched a glass-enclosed fire extinguisher and as a result he had to receive several stitches.

Stoudemire said there is a 'great chance' that he will play in Game 4 and he hopes to get a win in front of the Madison Square Garden crowd.

The Knicks will either face a 0-3 hole on Sunday or they could have a chance to tie the series at two before heading back to Miami.

Stoudemire needs to be on his A-game for the Knicks to have a shot at winning the series and fans hope he can help this team regain its confidence.
