Amar’e Stoudemire Named to Second Team All-NBA

New York Knicks superstar Amar’e Stoudemire has been named to the 2011 Second Team All-NBA. Stoudemire shined in his first season in New York, and he outlasted several deserving players for the honor. Joining Stoudemire in the Second Team are¬†Dwyane Wade, Russell Westbrook, Pau Gasol and Dirk Nowitzki.

In the 2010-2011 regular season, Stoudemire averaged 25.3 points per game, 8.1 rebounds per game and 1.9 blocks per game. Although the Knicks did not end the season on a high note, they will be looking to advance further into the playoffs under the guidance of Amar’e Stoudemire.
