Even the Commander in Chief of America is up-to-date with the LINSANE story.
“We were speaking about Jeremy Lin … as we flew here to Andrews Air Force base this morning. … It’s just a great story and the president was saying as much this morning,” Carney said in response to a question from ABC News aboard Air Force 1.
“It’s terrific for the New York Knicks, but it’s the kind of sports story that transcends sport itself. … Yes, he’s very impressed and fully up to speed. He has watched Lin play already and did see the highlights from last night’s game.”
The President is well known for being a avid basketball fan, and a huge Bulls fan. He is also a fellow Harvard alum, so keeping an eye on a Ivy league player is not surprising.
Maybe he's worried about New York making their way up the charts...The Bulls superstar Derrick Rose is struggling with back problems...Then again he may have bigger worries, like being re-elected.
