New York Knicks guard Baron Davis is expected to return the lineup soon despite suffering a hamstring injury. Davis injured the right hamstring in the Knicks' Friday night game and did not return.
However, the injury was not as severe as expected and it shouldn't sideline Davis for too long. Coach Mike Woodson told reporters that the hamstring injury should not be too detrimental, but he is still taking precautions before putting Davis onto the court.
“We’re just not taking any chances right now,” Woodson said before the Knicks' game versus the Pacers.
Davis adds great depth to the Knicks' bench and is someone who can help the second unit greatly.
