Baron Davis Suffers Right Hamstring Injury

Written by on March 16, 2012 in News - No comments

In the New York Knicks' win over the Indiana Pacers tonight, point guard Baron Davis suffered a right hamstring injury and did not return to the game.

The Knicks eventually won the game, 115-100, to improve to 2-0 since Mike Woodson took over; however, the team lost a valuable piece off the bench.

Davis played well in the offense and gave players like Jeremy Lin some valuable minutes on the bench for rest. At this point, the severity of the injury is not determined, but based on Davis' history of them, it cannot please the front office.

Davis sat out the first seven weeks of the season with a back injury. And although a hamstring is different, only time can tell how long Davis will be out for.
