Billups to Undergo MRI on Left Knee

Written by on April 20, 2011 in News - No comments

New York Knicks guard Chauncey Billups will undergo an MRI on his strained left knee today. Billups will try to play in Game 3 on Friday, but that does not seems like a plausible goal. Billups is still hobbling and is experiencing pain in his injured left knee.

The Knicks were without Billups for Game 2, and they missed his clutch shot making ability. The Knicks had to rely on Carmelo Anthony to close the game, and no other player was able to support him. With the Knicks down 0-2 they need a healthy Chauncey Billups to help Anthony beat the Celtics.
