Billups Uncertain for Game 2 After Injuring Leg

Written by on April 18, 2011 in News - No comments

New York Knicks guard Chauncey Billups left in the fourth quarter of Game 1 after suffering a knee injury, and he did not return to see the Knicks lose. As for Billups' status for Game 2, Coach Mike D'Antoni said it is still uncertain. Billups was limited in Monday's practice and the decision will be made prior to the tip off Game 2 on Tuesday. Without Billups, the Knicks will lose a veteran point guard who has the ability to dictate the tempo and control the game.
