New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Month for the month of April. Anthony averaged 29.8 points in the month of April and was no doubt his most productive 30 days since joining the Knicks.
Anthony was the sole star of the team for the majority of the month and he had to put this team on his back. With Amar'e Stoudemire out, the Knicks had to rely on their versatile swingman.

The Knicks went 9-4 in the month of April, which featured seven 30-points games, two 40-point games and a triple-double for Anthony.
