New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony has been named the Vice President of POWERCOCO, a coconut water sports drink. Anthony was already an investor in the company, but he was just given the title, VP of Innovation.
Anthony will work alongside the executive committee on expanding the reaches of the brand and improving the quality, Sports Business Digest.
“There is no question that the natural ingredients and low sugar formula of POWERCOCO is the best choice to keep me hydrated on and off the court." Anthony said. "I am proud to help introduce The Next Generation Sports Drink as a part of the POWERCOCO movement.”
There is now more pressure on Anthony this upcoming season. Not only will he have to deal with the work related to winning basketball games, but he will also be stressing in a board room.
