Rose has missed 12 consecutive game swith a groin injury, but surprisingly the Bulls did not relinquish the top spot in the NBA with him out of the lineup. Still, Rose is an intricate part of their success and they need him on the court as soon as possible.
"I'm feeling good," Rose said after Saturday morning's practice [ESPN Chicago]. "My groin's not bothering me. I'm happy to move on. My spirits are up. Today is my first full practice. Just practicing with the guys felt good out there and hopefully I'll be playing Sunday."
The Knicks will have their first major test on Sunday without Amar'e Stoudemire and Jeremy Lin. If they do come out with a win on Sunday, it will surely boost the morale of the players on the court.
