Gerald Wallace Gets Warning for Flop Against Anthony, Knicks

The New York Knicks lost an overtime thriller in Brooklyn on Monday, despite 35 points by Carmelo Anthony and 28 from Tyson Chandler. It was the first ever Battle of New York, and the Knicks could not do enough in the extra period to steal the win on the road.

The Nets walked off the Barclays Center court winners, 96-89, thanks to a 22 point, 11 rebound performance by Brook Lopez. In the final seconds of overtime, Nets forward Gerald Wallace drew a foul on Carmelo Anthony, but his acting skills helped him out in that situation.

SI.com: The NBA officially warned Nets forward Gerald Wallace for violating its anti-flopping policy on Thursday.

The NBA took a look at the play and decided to give Wallace a warning for the flop. Wallace did not get fined for the flop but will if he does it for a second time.
