In Amar'e Stoudemire's return to the Knicks lineup, the team could not figure out a way to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Knicks did not play well for the first three quarters and although they made one strong push, it was too little too late.
The Cavaliers came out of the gate firing and the Knicks seemed tired and disinterested. This was the first time in a long time both Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony played together, and there was an adjustment period.
Those two didn't have great games and it looks like it will take time for them to figure each other out. The Knicks need those two on the same page, or else they may have another early exit in the playoffs.
Stoudemire had 15 points and three rebounds in 27 minutes of play. As for Anthony, he put in 12 points on 5-13 shooting.
