Highlights: Anthony and Stoudemire Guide Knicks Over Hawks

Written by on April 23, 2012 in Media - No comments

The New York Knicks picked up a key road victory yesterday when they beat the Atlanta Hawks, 113-112.

It was an offensive oriented game and the stars on the teams came up big when the match was on the line. The Knicks struggled defensively without Tyson Chandler, but it offered an opportunity to Amar'e Stoudemire to get assimilated into the offense.

Stoudemire finished the game with 22 points, while Carmelo Anthony put in 39. To make things better, both Stoudemire and Anthony shared the ball in the final minutes. Those two worked together extremely well and it was nice seeing the two stars on the same page.
