The New York Knicks lost last night to the Indiana Pacers, 112-104, despite a 39-point performance by Carmelo Anthony. The Knicks were outscored 40-17 in the fourth quarter, but still had their chances late in the game.
Anthony missed a potential game-tying three and the Pacers walked away after with a victory after knocking down several free-throws.
Indiana had an all-around great game and beat the Knicks with a balanced attack. With the Philadelphia 76ers losing their game versus the Miami Heat, the Knicks missed an opportunity to gain some ground in the Atlantic Division.
