Iman Shumpert Leaves Game One With Knee Injury

Written by on April 28, 2012 in News - No comments

New York Knicks guard Iman Shumpert left the team's Game 1 against the Miami Heat with a left knee injury. With 6:04 left in the third quarter, Shumpert tried to crossover Dwyane Wade but immediately went to the floor and clutched his knee.

Shumpert was grimacing in pain and he had to be carried off the floor by two teammates. Shumpert went scoreless in the game but his efforts on the defensive end are what make his special.

MRI result have not been released yet, but the image did not look good. With Jeremy Lin already out with a knee injury, the Knicks may have lost another point guard.
