Injury Update: Shaq Out, Billups Unlikely for Game 2

Written by on April 19, 2011 in News - No comments

Boston Celtics center Shaquille O'Neal will miss Tuesday's Game 2 against the Knicks. O'Neal has been dealing with a calf injury, and he did not participate in Game 1 on Sunday.

New York's Chauncey Billups played in Game 1, but he left late in the fourth quarter after suffering a leg injury. At first, Billups' status for Game 2 was uncertain, but recent reports have indicated that he is 'unlikely' for the next game.

Young Toney Douglas will most likely replace Billups in the Knicks' starting five.
