Injury Update: Stoudemire Expect to Play, Billups Questionable
New York Knicks’ players Amar’e Stoudemire and Chauncey Billups underwent MRIs today and the test results have revealed some great, but also troubling news. The screening revealed that Stoudemire pulled a muscle in his back, while Billups has a strained tendon in his left knee.
Stoudemire is expected to play in Game 3 on Friday, but Billups’ status for the game is sill questionable. Billups already missed Game 2 due to the knee injury, and it seems as though he will be sitting out another.
The Knicks will play the Boston Celtics in a crucial Game 3 on Friday night at Madison Square Garden, and the team will try to climb back from a 0-2 series deficit.
