New York Knicks' players Amar'e Stoudemire and Chauncey Billups underwent MRIs today and the test results have revealed some great, but also troubling news. The screening revealed that Stoudemire pulled a muscle in his back, while Billups has a strained tendon in his left knee.
Stoudemire is expected to play in Game 3 on Friday, but Billups' status for the game is sill questionable. Billups already missed Game 2 due to the knee injury, and it seems as though he will be sitting out another.
The Knicks will play the Boston Celtics in a crucial Game 3 on Friday night at Madison Square Garden, and the team will try to climb back from a 0-2 series deficit.
