J.R. Smith Will Not Be Suspended for Flagrant Foul

New York Knicks guard J.R. Smith will not be suspended for his flagrant foul 2 on Indiana Pacer guard Leandro Barbosa. Smith threw Barbosa to the floor in the final seconds of the game, and was likely upset with Barbosa's celebration.

The game was essentially decided at that time and there was no need for Smith to pull his stunt. He was quickly ejected out of the game and there is no doubt the coaching staff did not like his actins.

“I'll sit down and talk to J.R. and tell him you got to be a little more professional,'' Mike Woodson said.

However, Smith will not be suspended by the NBA for the flagrant and will continue to play for the Knicks.
