Jeffries did not fill up the stat sheet like some of the stars, instead he found his niche making hustle plays. The coaching staff could always rely on him to take charges and come up with loose balls. Jeffries was at home in New York City and he said "he'd hate to leave New York now."
"I know that the Knicks are interested. I love New York," he said. "I'm still proud that I've been part of back-to-back playoffs. I feel like we made improvements this year as a team. That's my ultimate goal. I want to improve, I want to get better. I want to be on a winning team, and I think we have a chance to do that."
It will be interesting to see how the Knicks go about changing their roster. There are a lot of questions heading into this off-season and Jeffries may or may not be a Knick.
