New York Knicks players Jeremy Lin and Steve Novak had stellar seasons for the team in 2011-12, but they are currently not signed for next season. Lin took over the NBA headlines with 'Linsanity' but he did not have a chance to prove himself in the playoffs due to injury. As for Novak, he emerged as one of the best shooters in the NBA and opponents starting to target him on defense.
Although as of this point neither of them will return next season, both would like to be back in New York.
“I’m definitely comfortable here," Lin said, New York Post. “I love playing in New York. I love the fans. They gave me the chance. They believed in me. That’s why I’m here today. I owe a lot to this organization.”
The Knicks were without a solid point guard in the post-season, and the fans will surely love to see the Harvard phenom again.
As for Novak, the three-point specialist found a great home in New York this season.
"I can't think back to a more fun year I’ve had playing basketball when you have so much fun playing in a place that's where you want to be. And for me, that's definitely New York."
