Jeremy Lin Could Return to Lineup Once Post-Season Begins

Written by on April 7, 2012 in News - No comments

Although the New York Knicks expected Jeremy Lin to miss about six weeks of play due to a tear in his meniscus, it seems as though his recovery is expected to go a little quicker than expected.

While the official timetable has Lin returning in the second round, the Harvard grad is targeting the first round, Pro Basketball Talk. The Knicks will need a healthy Lin if it wants to make a deep playoff push. There are a plethora of fast guards in the Eastern Conference, and Baron Davis may not be able to keep up with them.

At this point, the Knicks lead the Milwaukee Bucks by only one game for the eight spot in the East. So before the Knicks get ready for Lin's return, they have to make sure they can make it to the post-season.
