Jeremy Lin Out for Six Weeks With Meniscus Tear

Written by on March 31, 2012 in News - No comments

New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin will be out of the lineup for approximately six weeks. An MRI has revealed that Lin has a small tear in his meniscus.

The Knicks are already facing injuries to Amar'e Stoudemire and it looks like he and Lin may miss the playoffs. However, with two stars out of the lineup the Knicks may not even make the post-season.

The Knicks will be playing the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight and they must try to find a rhythm without Lin. New York has to play like cohesive unit in these next couple of weeks in order to make the playoffs, but with teams like the Milwaukee Bucks rolling, the post-season looks like an unattainable goal.
