The New York Knicks have emerged as frontrunners for acquiring two-time NBA MVP, Steve Nash. According to Yahoo! Sports, the Knicks have beaten the Toronto Raptors and are now the likely destination for Nash.
The Knicks cannot sign Nash due to salary cap issues, but they acquire him via sign-and-trade. In such a deal, Nash would receive a three-year deal worth between $27 million-$30 million, while the Suns would acquire Iman Shumpert and Toney Douglas.
