Knicks Looking to Move Up in Draft Order

Written by on June 16, 2011 in News - No comments

The New York Knicks currently have the 17th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, but they soon may no longer keep that position. The Knicks are looking to move up in the draft order by trading for the 15th pick.

The Indiana Pacers hold that draft pick, and a deal may go in place resulting in better positioning  for the Knicks. The 2011 NBA Draft will take place on June 23rd on ESPN, and the Knicks will begin their off-season by selecting the future of their roster.

Stars Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire had a dearth of role players in last season's playoffs, so adding young rookies will be a boon for the team.
