The New York Knicks are reportedly close to an agreement with Argentinean point guard Pablo Prigioni. The 35-year old guard met with Knicks coach Mike Woodson and General Manager Gren Grunwald in June and it looks like the Knicks will bring him to New York.
Sport Newspaper Ole reported Wednesday that Prigioni would sign with the Knicks, who were offering a one-year deal worth roughly the veteran's minimum salary of $1.3 million.
The Knicks tried to sign Prigioni three years ago, but they were unable to sign the savvy point guard then. The Knicks have already signed Jason Kidd, are expected the match Jeremy Lin's offer sheet and have added another guard in Prigioni.
