With the 48th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, the New York Knicks selected Kostas Papanikolaou from Greece. The Knicks did not have a pick in the first round, so their sole selection was the man from Greece.
The Knicks may not have his services for some time as he will come to New York in a couple of years. The young player has a world of talent, but the Knicks will have to wait before he shines under the lights of Madison Square Garden.
