Landry Fields Regaining Confidence in Shot

Written by on April 23, 2012 in News - No comments

New York Knicks forward and second-year man Landry Fields has been struggling shooting the ball this season, but he rediscovered his shot in the Knicks' game against the Hawks.

Fields has shot 24 percent from the three-point arc this season, but against the Hawks he hit all three of his attempts and finished the day with 18 points on 7-8 shooting.

“I’m not going to get satisfied or complacent,’’ Fields said [New York Post]. “I was really comfortable today. It’s a constant thing working on my shot and improving my game.’’

Fields has been working on his shot with assistant general manager Allan Houston, and that hard work paid off yesterday in Atlanta. If the Knicks want to shock the world in their opening round series, they need some solid play out of the versatile Landry Fields.
