LeBron James Win 2012 NBA MVP

Miami Heat forward LeBron James has won the 2011-12 NBA's Most Valuable Player Award. This is James' third MVP and his third in four seasons.

James won consecutive MVPs while in Cleveland, and this is his first one with the Miami Heat. The Heat finished with the second best record in the Eastern Conference (46-20). James averaged 27.1 points, 6.2 assists and 7.9 rebounds per game in 2011-12.

James totaled 1,074 points, including 85 first-place votes, from a panel of 121 voters that consisted of sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada as well as an NBA.com MVP fan vote.

No New York Knicks players received an MVP vote, perhaps some motivation for Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire next season.
