Mike Woodson Calls Knicks’ Loss to Cavs ‘Unacceptable’

Written by on April 21, 2012 in News - No comments

The New York Knicks had a bad showing against the Cleveland Cavaliers and lost the game 98-90. The Knicks faced a double-digit deficit for nearly the entire game and their defense was nothing to be proud of.

After the game coach Mike Woodson talked about the loss and he was clearly upset with the way his team played, New York Post.

“Unacceptable,” Woodson said. “Completely unacceptable.”

The Knicks players were also disappointed with their loss and it was strange seeing the team struggle despite all their recent successes. It was Amar'e Stoudemire's first game back from injury, but that is no excuse to lose the Cavaliers.

The Knicks are gearing up for the NBA playoffs and defeats like this could ruin their momentum heading into the post-season.
