NBA and Players Union Will Have Full Meeting Next Week

The NBA and Players Union met today in New York City and after five hours of negotiations, both parties have agreed to gather again on Tuesday.  Unlike the previous two meetings which included only high-level officials, the next gathering will feature full committees.

This can be seen as a major step toward signing a new CBA and a full meeting indicates that the parties are inching closer and closer to ending the lockout. Although David Stern had said this full labor sessions does not indicate any significant progress, there is a possibility that the NBA will start on schedule.
