The NBA labor talks will resume tomorrow in New York City as both sides try to sign a new CBA before the season starts. However, the negotiation session will not include the high officials on the NBA and Union side. Instead those who will be attending the meeting are NBPA attorney Ron Klempner and attorneys for the NBA. It is unclear whether NBA Deputy Commissioner Adam Silver will be taking part in the New York meeting.
Sources close to the situation say this gathering on Wednesday does not qualify as an official bargaining session, but there may be a formal meeting on Thursday. If an addition session is indeed scheduled David Stern, Billy Hunter and Derek Fisher will be attending.
The NBA season is rapidly approaching and although both sides have made some ground in the economics aspect of the debate, there is still work to be done.
