Pre-Game Report: Knicks vs. Cavs 1.25.12

New York Knicks (7-10) at Cleveland Cavaliers (6-10)
7:00 PM EST, January 25, 2012
QUICKEN LOANS ARENA – CLEVELAND, OH
TV: MSG TV
Radio: 1050 ESPN Radio

Cavs Projected Starting Line-up:
PG: KYRIE IRVING
SG: ANTHONY PARKER
SF:  OMRI CASSPI
PF: ANTAWN JAMISON
C:   ANDERSON VAREJAO

Key Reserves: Tristan Thompson, Daniel Gibson, Samardo Samuels

The Knicks are looking to make it two in a row tonight against the Cavs. New York found its scoring beat yesterday versus the Bobcats, putting up 111 points and only 1 point from Carmelo Anthony. The young Cavs are looking to bounce back after last nights loss to the hated Lebron James and the Miami Heat. Baron Davis was eager to make his debut tonight against the amnestied him just two months ago but unfortunately he will not make it onto the court.

Rookie Watch:
Knicks – Iman Shumpert is still in the starting line-up and has been playing well. Look for big minutes from Shump again tonight.
Cavs- Kyrie Irving- the NBA’s overall #1 pick has been very impressive so far this season. The match-up between him and Shumpert should be fun to watch.

Injury Report:

Knicks- Baron Davis OUT, Josh Harrellson OUT

Cavs- Tristan Thompson QUESTIONABLE
