The Knicks are coming home after a terrible short road trip to Memphis and Oklahoma City which ended in blow-out losses. The Magic have started off great, they're 8-3 and 4th overall in the East.
Match-Ups: Dwight Howard vs Amare Stoudemire
Superman vs STAT - despite the constant Howard trade rumors he has managed to have one his best statistical starts ever, including breaking Walt Chamberlain's all-time record for free throw attempts with 39. Adversely Stoudemire has been struggling to find his dominating scoring ways, during the two losses against Memphis and OKC. he had a combined 20 points.
Rookie Watch:
Knicks - Iman Shumpert will make his 5th start at the point-gaurd position, his shooting struggles continue, but his defensive effort is needed. Expect him to play alot of minutes today. Josh Harrellson is becoming a nice fit off the bench for the Knicks, he's found his nitch, the corner three can be a useful weapon for the team today.
Injury Report:
Knicks - Baron Davis OUT, Carmelo Anthony QUESTIONABLE
Magic - Jason Richardson – bone bruise, left knee, day-to-day, Quentin Richardson – sprained left ankle, questionable
