Former New York Knicks point guard Raymond Felton would like to once again play for the franchise. The Knicks signed Felton in the summer of 2010, but they traded him to the Denver Nuggets in the Carmelo Anthony deal.
Felton's agent, Tony Dutt, said his client had a great time in New York and he hopes to suit up for the Knicks in time for next season, New York Post. The Knicks never wanted to give Felton away in that trade, but it looks like they can still have him and Anthony on the same team.
“I consider them definitely on his high list,’’ Dutt said. “He would love to go back. He loved New York and was playing at an all-star level.’’
The Knicks will have problems signing Felton with a mid-level exception, so a sign-and-trade would be the best option. Dutt hopes the Knicks can work something out with the Portland Trailblazers and give his client some more money on his contract.
