Even with the 2011-2012 NBA season in jeopardy, New York Knicks season ticket holders were anxious to renew their subscriptions. According to Garden President Scott O'Neil, the Knicks will completely sell-out their season tickets for the upcoming campaign.
"We are pleased to report the Knicks have over 90 percent of season ticket holders renewed," O'Neil told the New York Post. The massive renewal rate was quite shocking following the ticket price increase by Knicks owners James Dolan. The Knicks increased their season ticker price by 49%; ticket prices for seats behind the Knicks' bench rose 173% from $330 to $900.
The Knicks sold out their season tickets last year for the first time since 2001-2002 and now with Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire tickets will be in high demand.
