Knicks fans have been chanting and begging, and now they may receive just what they want. Mike D'Antoni told the media today that Iman Shumpert could start for the Knicks as early as Friday against the Wizards. Shumpert has only played in two games this season, but he has been impressive enough to earn a "We want Shumpert" chant from fans at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday versus the Raptors. We're not sure yet if Shump' will be repalcing either Toney Douglas or Landry Fields in the line-up. Both players have been struggling this season. Fields has yet to find that confidence that him a Rookie of the Month award winner last season, and Toney is still scoring like he did before, except he is still learning how to control a offense. Coach D'Antoni is considering this move earlier than some reporters would have thought, but if the kid can play, then let him play right?
