New York Knicks captain Amar'e Stoudemire said in an interview during the weekend that he will hold Knicks workouts at the at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. Stoudemire is still rehabbing his back and wants to get back to preparing for basketball once his injury is fully healed.
The players camp will begin in late August to early September.
Knicks rookie Iman Shumpert has already decided to work-out at IMG Academy, and Stoudemire will join him once his China trip wraps up.
Just like several NFL quarterbacks who set up camps during the lockout, Amar'e Stoudemire is making sure his team is ready for the next NBA season.
