The "Inside the NBA" crew were making jokes about Amare's attire as he entered the Staples Arena last night before their game versus the Lakers. Credit pickzkickz for the find:
Amare Stoudemire arriving in NY before the game during the Mavs/OK game. Amare walks in wearing a leather jacket, shades and Black Cement 3's with the tongue hangin' out and the guys start singing the "Happy Days" theme song! Gotta be an older cat to remember I guess! lol
In the past, there has been justified reasons to clown Amare on his clothing, or lack thereof, but not this time. The black shades, leather jacket, and Cement 3's is Playboy, but they wouldn't anything about that. Barkley and the gang have become a basketball comedic sideshow that sprinkles in a taste of analytical basketball conversations here and there. And if there making fun of him for looking like "The Fonz", then that's not really a diss at all. I don't care if your old or young, everyone knows that "The Foz" is the epitome of COOL.
