New York Knicks legends Patrick Ewing, Willis Reed and Earl Monroe have been inducted into the College Basketball Hall-of-Fame. Ewing played center for Georgetown University, Reed suited up for Grambling State University and Monroe spent his collegiate days at Winston-Salem State University.

The three Knickerbockers headline a class of ten players, who were announced Tuesday in Kansas City, and will be inducted into the Hall in November 2012.

The others who were named aside the Knicks are North Carolina’s Phil Ford, Wyoming’s Kenny Sailors and Kansas' Clyde Lovellette.  Joe B. Hall, coach of the historic Kentucky basketball team and Dave Robbins, who won more than 700 games at Virginia Union were also named.

The Hall-of-Fame induction ceremony is set for Nov. 18 at the Midland Theatre in Kansas City.
