Too ‘Hard’ For Anthony to Watch NBA Playoffs

Written by on June 5, 2012 in News - No comments

The New York Knicks were ousted out of the 2012 NBA Playoffs in the first round by the Miami Heat, a team that is still battling for the NBA title.

Although many NBA players follow the post-season even when their teams are out, the superstars always have struggles seeing another squad raise the trophy. Carmelo Anthony still has many close friends in the playoffs, but he admits that it is hard for him to watch the post-season.

“It’s kind of hard for me to watch at this point,” Anthony said [New York Post]. “I watch my friends, watch my guys play. It’s hard for me to watch, though. From what I’m hearing, from what I’m seeing so far, it’s a good playoffs, though.”

The San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder are battling for the Western Conference crown while the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics are fighting in the Eastern Conference.
