Carl Braun was an original New York Knickerbocker and he was drafted by the team in the 1947 BAA Draft. Braun spent 12 of his 13 seasons with the Knicks and he was prolific and explosive scorer. Although Braun played one season with the Boston Celtics, he is still considered one of the best guards the Knicks have ever seen. Braun was named to five All-Star teams and in his time with the Knicks, Braun averaged 13.5 points per game and nearly three assists per game.
