New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin is a restricted free-agent this off-season and there is a good chance that he ends up back in New York. The Knicks may not have a lot of money to offer Lin, so the franchise is hoping another team doesn't put a large contract on the table.
The Toronto Raptors are a team that is quite interested in Lin. Not only would be help the squad on the court, but the Raptors can expect attendance to shoot up with Lin, New York Daily News.
"The Raptors are also a potential landing spot for Jeremy Lin. They like him and what he’d do for their attendance, but Toronto would have to “back-load” an offer to the restricted free agent, paying him gazillions in the final couple of years of a deal, and hope that the Knicks would not match"
The Knicks need to make sure no one snatches up Lin. Nevertheless, the franchise should first try to get acquire Steve Nash. Nash is both a better player and a more experienced guard than Lin.
