New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler is expected to play in the team's game on Sunday against the Philadelphia 76ers. Chandler missed the last several games for the Knicks and although he is not 100%, his injury is healed enough for him to play.
Chandler has been dealing with a left hamstring strain since March 6 and it seems as though he can finally get back to the court.
When coach Mike D'Antoni was asked if Chandler was ready to play, he was pleased to inform the reporters that his defensive anchor was back.
"I'm thinking yes, so I can sleep tonight," D'Antoni said, smiling.
The Knicks missed Chandler dearly as he provided the team with stellar defense. The others players have difficulty trying to prevent opponents from scoring but with Chandler in the lineup, the squad should get back on track.
