“I thought the break would do me some good and help me heal a little bit but coming back and just today in practice and just trying to catch the ball and everything, it’s still difficult,” Chandler said.
Chandler injured the wrist during the Knicks' game versus the Dallas Mavericks on Feb. 19. Although Chandler is being cautious about the wrist, coach Mike D'Antoni is not losing sleep over the set-back.
“He’ll be fine,” D’Antoni said. “He can rest in the summer time. He’s fine. It will hurt his 3-point shooting, but he’ll be alright.”
However, Chandler is the only person who can determine how severe the injury is. He is an integral part of the Knicks' defense and New York needs him if it wants to rise in the Eastern Conference standings.
