New York Knicks legend Patrick Ewing is inching closer and closer to becoming the next head coach of the Charlotte Bobcats. Ewing is currently an assistant coach of the Orlando Magic and reports say there is a good chance he becomes the head coach of the Bobcats, Yahoo! Sports.
The Bobcats interviewed Ewing on Thursday and if the team does sign Ewing, it will be a wished fulfilled. "My goal is to be a head coach," Ewing told The New York Post in late March. "I hope to get interviews everywhere there's a job open."
The Bobcats finished the season with the worst winning percentage in NBA history and hope to start a new chapter with Ewing.
