Update: Knicks Sign Woodson to Three-Year Deal

Written by on May 26, 2012 in News - No comments

The New York Knicks and Mike Woodson agreed to continue their relationship, and we have learned that the new deal is a three-year agreement. The deal is not necessarily long-term as the Knicks have a team option for the third year of the contract.

The Knicks never really considered another coach and wanted to see what Woodson could do with a full season. The Knicks went 18-6 in the regular season under Woodson, but this time he will have a regular, 82-game schedule.

With training camp ahead and a chance to grow with the players, the Knicks can be very successful with him on the bench.
